Let me tell you a story. On the start of a family road trip we did the first thing any dad does getting on the road in their Chevy Tahoe — we got gas. While at the pump waiting for the gas hog's tank to fill, I noticed a coolant leak coming out of one of the hoses to my water pump.
Crud, I thought. I don't have my tools for this and I'm already 30 minutes out of town. But what I did have was my Wingman in my pocket and an Ace Hardware a mile down the road.
This little guy has a set of sturdy needle-nose pliers, a sharp knife, and a Phillips head. One length of hose from Ace, a couple fresh hose clamps, and a gallon of distilled water later — we were on our way.
Since that day I carry this everywhere I can. From fixing random things, to cutting up boxes and replacing batteries in my kids' toys. This is a wonderful addition to any dad's pocket.
