Gentleman, let me present to you Ace Combat 8 — available today.
Ace Combat has to be one of my favorite series of all time. If you have never played one of these gems, let me describe it as stepping into the flight scenes of Top Gun. A non-stop thrill ride with little moments to relax while you're busy chasing down enemies in explosive dogfights and dropping bombs and missiles on unfortunate enemies on the ground.
The graphics are absolutely unreal and the games just don't slow down. Stories are pretty well written and immersive enough that they complement the intense gameplay. There's a large selection of jets to fly and always a couple futuristic exotics unlocked late game.

- Start on Normal difficulty — the game is fast and you'll want to find your footing before cranking it up.
- Headphones are a must. The soundtrack and engine roar are half the experience.
